What Makes Lufthansa Training Special

Lufthansa Group Backing

As the training division of one of the world's largest airline groups, Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) offers programs developed by active airline pilots and trainers. Graduates benefit from direct recruitment pathways into Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.

Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL)

LAT is one of the few organizations worldwide authorized to train MPL pilots — a competency-based license designed specifically for airline operations. MPL graduates enter the flight deck with airline-standard CRM and SOPs already ingrained.

Full-Flight Simulator Fleet

LAT operates over 40 Level D full-flight simulators across its European network. From the Airbus A320 family to the Boeing 747-8 and Airbus A380, their simulators provide the most realistic training environment outside of the actual aircraft.

Cabin Crew & Technical Training

Beyond pilot training, LAT is a leader in cabin crew training, aircraft maintenance technician education, and dispatcher certification. Their holistic approach ensures every crew member meets Lufthansa's legendary standards of German precision and safety.
