What Makes Aman Special

The Aman Philosophy

Aman means "peace" in Sanskrit. Each property is designed with a minimalist aesthetic that disappears into its landscape. No signage, no crowds, no distractions — just serenity, space, and a profound sense of place. Amanjunkies (loyal Aman guests) plan their travels around new property openings.

Architectural Harmony

Aman's design philosophy draws from the local vernacular. Amanzoe in Greece features classical Doric columns, Amanyara in Turks & Caicos echoes Caribbean plantation architecture, and Aman Tokyo occupies the top six floors of a skyscraper with traditional Japanese design elements.

Aman Spa & Wellness

The Aman Spa is central to every property. Treatments draw from local healing traditions — Ayurveda in India, traditional Chinese medicine in China, and Native American rituals in Utah. Each spa is a destination in itself, with treatments that extend beyond the physical to emotional and spiritual well-being.

Exclusive Access

Aman properties are deliberately small — rarely more than 40 suites. This ensures exclusivity and personalized service. Aman's latest venture, Aman Private Jet, offers curated journeys combining multiple properties in a single trip with private aviation throughout.
